Benefit Statements

We send out benefit statements to all active and deferred Scheme members every year showing the amount of service you have accrued and the amount of pension and lump sum you are likely to get when you retire. Statements are usually sent out during August and September.

It is important to note that benefit statements are for illustration purposes only, based on the information we hold up to the date of the statement. If you would like an accurate forecast and you are nearing retirement age, you can ask your employer to request an estimate for you. They need to provide us with your current pay details and we will then send information about the benefits you can expect to receive to your home address. For this reason, it is important that you tell us about any address changes,
