Parental Leave
During the course of your pension scheme membership, you may need time for parental leave.
This could be due to maternity leave, paternity leave or adoption leave.
There is provision within the Local Govenment Pension Scheme for parental leave. This gives new parents the opportunity of maintaining their pension rights during this period.
