Reporting the death of a scheme member
To report the death of a Scheme member please contact us directly on 01225 713613. Alternatively you can contact us in writing at the address below:

Should you prefer, you can contact us by email pensionenquiries@wiltshire.gov.uk
When contacting us we will require the following information:
- Name of member
- Date of death
- National Insurance number
- Next of kin details
- Contact details of the spouse/partner/person reporting the member's death
We will also require the following documentation:
- Copy of the death certificate.
- Copy of any marriage or civil partnership certificate.
- Copy of birth certificate of any dependent children.
- If dependent children are between 18 and 23 and in full time education we will require proof of this from their educational establishment.
- Bank details of survivors so that payment of pension can be arranged.
