PLOG: Pension Liaison Officers Group
We currently host PLOG meetings every3-6months to keep all employers informed of all the current pension information and news that they need to be aware of. Furthermore, these meetings give employers the opportunity to raise any questions they might have and discuss any issues.It is likely that in 2011 and 2012 there will be some majorchanges to the LGPS, in which case we will arrange PLOG following important announcements and before major changes.
We encourage all employers to try and send representatives to these meetings and, in attempt to increase attendance, we have decided to issues dates further in advance and use the central county location of Devizes for many of our meetings to reduce average travel times. We are also looking to make these more area specific; e.g. targeted more specifically at administration, HR or Finance.
