Contribution Rate
Employers contribute to the Local Government Pension Scheme as well as the employees. Each employer's rate is different and is set by our Actuaries in the fund valuation every three years (i.e. 2004, 2007, 2010, 2013).
The rate is dependent on various factors, which include:
- Investment returns
- Bond yields
- Inflation/Interest rates
- Life expectancy
- The benefits package
- Employee profile
Below you can find the current contribution rates for all of our employers. If you need more information, you can contact us or look in the Financial Section.
