LGPS Regulations

Wiltshire Pension Fund is established under the LGPS Regulations, which are produced by the CLG (Communities and Local Government) department at a national level.

Broadly speaking, there are two key sets of regulations which determine and influence, as appropriate, the way we administer the scheme. From time to time, amendments are made to these regulations.

• LGPS (Administration) Regulations 2008

• LGPS (Benefits, Members and Contributions) Regulations 2007

Both regulations came into force from 1st April 2008.
