Less Than Three Months Pensionable Service
If you leave the scheme with less than 3 months pensionable service without opting out, you have two choices.
1. You can have a refund of your contributions. We will pay your refund to you by cheque and there will be a national insurance and tax deduction from your refund. This refund cannot be paid until one month and one day after you have left the scheme.
Or
2. You can can transfer your service with us to a new pension provider.
We will send you a decision form give you these options. You need to return this form to us so that you can tell us about your decision. Alternatively, you can contact us if you need more information.
