Apprenticeship Opportunity within the Investments team

In our latest Business Plan, "Our pathway to success", we have set out a resourcing plan, which sets a goal of a resilient, skilled and motivated workforce. 

Within the plan we developed six core resourcing principles, one of which is to  "Grow Your Own", which promotes career development and training. 

What have we done so far:

• Created career-graded roles, allowing members of the team to build their technical knowledge and skills helping to progress in their careers.
• Tailored training plans, to support staff in achieving their goals.
•  The entire team have attended training on "creating an inclusive workplace", to support our culture and service to our members.
• Several members of the team have been supported in achieving professional qualifications.
• Celebrated several promotions within our team, ranging from people climbing up the career grades to promotions to manager level.

Building on this, we are delighted to announce applications are open for our first Apprenticeship Position!

 Start you career in finance as an Apprentice Accountant with Wiltshire Pension Fund!

As an Apprentice Accountant, you'll have the chance to earn while you learn, blending academic studies with hands-on work experience, whilst contributing to the financial success of the pension fund. 

This role is an integral part of our team, assisting in various aspects of accounting and financial management developing a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and practices, laying a strong foundation for your future career.
